For Reading's round, Peter Walmsley LRPS, visited us again to tackle the task. Peter was clearly expecting a high standard of work for this level of competition, and he was not disappointed. He was also looking for a storyline or message in each image, with the technical expertise taken for granted. It became obvious that Peter had some preference for those images featuring people, as he felt that these were most likely to have a story to tell. Marking reflected the standard of this competition, only 2 images achieving the maximum of 10 points. These were from Andover Split Image PS and Focus, Ryde. Reading's highest scoring image came from Janet Marshall, just missing the magic 10 by half a mark, with " A Lick of Blue ".
Reading finished in 4th position for this round, hopefully we will move up the table in subsequent rounds.
