The leg was ably judged by Chris Hutchinson from Yateley Camera Club, who was faced with commenting on over 60 images covering every subject imaginable, both in colour and monochrome.
He coped with the task with humour and his breadth of photographic knowledge, and avoided favouring images of steam trains, of which he is a keen fan! He commented in detail on every entry and still managed to finish with 5 minutes to spare - quite an achievement!
An unusually large number of entries received the maximum score of 20, with subjects ranging from mystifying abstracts to the more traditional - obviously members must be getting it right! Tonight's overall winner was Graham Wootton, who scored 55 ( out of a possible 60 ) marks.
We were also pleased to welcome as visitors 2 previous members who had moved away from Reading, plus several more visiting for the first time, as potential members.
Once more a well-attended and successful evening.
