The quality of his images were truly exceptional, especially when bearing in mind the location, and it was revealed just how detailed and colourful these paintings are, reflecting life and customs of Egyptians in 2500 B.C., and how well a lot of them have survived.
Paolo admitted that he was now finding " normal " photography a little tricky as he was not used to autofocus, automatic metering etc. He is a professional photographer who has covered weddings, portraiture etc., and has some plans to resume some of this as there may only be funding for two or three more Egyptian trips.
Once again, an absorbing evening. Attendance was a little low due to late holidays etc., so those members that missed the evening missed a treat.
