AGM 2023

Friday evening was Reading Camera Club’s AGM – an opportunity for members to hear about the club’s plans for the 2023-2024 season and to have a chance to say what they would like to see their club doing. A good discussion (with some very good cake on offer at coffee break!) followed by the presentation of trophies to members who had been successful in competitions in the 2022-2023 season. Congratulations to all the winners, and especially to those newer members who carried away competition trophies.

The AGM is the last meeting in the 2022-2023 season, but this year we will be continuing with an exciting Summer Programme of Photowalks, together with two Zoom meetings on image processing. There will be three evening Photowalks in the Reading area, each led by a club member, and three Photowalks further afield to London, Bath and Oxford.

All of our Summer Programme will be totally free of charge, so please do come along, meet members of the club and ask any questions you may have. You are very welcome whatever your photographic experience and whether you use a smartphone or the latest mirrorless camera. Keep an eye on our website for further details appearing soon.

Newly elected members to the committee were Michael Croshaw and David Childs, see about us for the full list of committee members.
