03/11/2023 – A way of photography with Darran Roper
_LOCATIONLINK
Darran Roper is a keen observer of daily life, often in his professional area of the Square Mile in London, who produces elegant images with a strong interplay of colours and shapes, and multilayered lights and shadows. The strong structure in his candid images of people interactions suspends time and invites the viewer’s imagination to wander. On his website he writes: “My motivation is the simple thrill of finding moments, nothing more to say really, no underlying meaning nor deep aesthetic intent. I don’t interact or manipulate situations, when a picture presents itself, it’s all there in the moment.”
