Ever missed the perfect picture because you weren’t quite in the right spot? Not a fan of Photoshop? Please bring along your images straight from the camera with no processing and we will discuss how we can get closer to that ideal image at the time of shooting, without any post processing.

A presentation of a pictorial journey of 2278 miles from Chicago Illinois to Santa Monica Los Angeles California along the famous Route 66 through nine States. The presentation will also include an Audio Visual of the journey.

Judge – Keith Newton LRPS Up to 3 mounted prints, picture area minimum size 13×18 cm, maximum mount size 40×50 cm. Must be handed in by 7.45pm at the latest, or your entry may be refused.

26/01/2024 – Process and Review

- All members are invited to submit 1 picture in RAW format preferably (JPEG format is also OK). Details for the upload location will follow. We aim to collect 10 pictures in total, and we will give priority to the images that were presented during our earlier “Straight out of the Camera” session.
- All members – even those who do not submit an image – can process any number of pictures of their choice and describe their processing during the session.
Depending on the number of pictures submitted and processed, we will assign a maximum time for the discussion of each image.
