Our Judge Caroline Colegate was impressed by the quality of the entries in this years Photo of the year. She commented that she has seen the quality of RCC’s images improve of over the year which is reflected in the fact that we have been promoted in the SCPF league in the last two years.
14 members in the hall and 3 via zoom, saw 24 PDIs and 12 print battle it out for the Photograph of the Year in each category.
PDIs
In the PDI category the winning image was Iris by Mike Croshaw.
Second place went to Len Quinn’s photo Seconds too late!
Len also placed third with Puffins’ elly good catch.
The following entries were also commended by Caroline.
In addition Marilyn Taylor’s photo The Puppet King was highly commended.
Prints
The print category was won by Garry Mumford with his image Avid Reader.
2nd place went to Bo Hansen and his photo Rawk!
Rear view by Marianne Chandler secured the third place.
